Fermenters can be used in various field, one is used to fermenting the wort in microbrewery, The wort is extracted from malt by brewhouse. The wort will be cooled down to fermentation temperature and then transfer into fermenters. Normally 7000L 70HL 60BBL fermenters with conical bottom and glycol jacket, the bottom is conical with 60 cone, which is good for yeast recycling, fermenters material is stainless steel. The beer production capacity is suitable for industrial brewery, fermenting is one part of brewing progress in brewery, normally happens before bottling or kegging. The fermentation temperature will be maintained at certain degree, which is cooled by glycol water automatically. 3 glycol jackets is standard.
The fermentation tank also can be called cylindrical conical tank, fermentation vessel, primary fermentor or unitank, the unitank can be used for both fermenting or lagering. Fermenting is the process during yeast transform into wort, and wort will be cooled by glycol jacket, the temperature will be controlled automatically. Lagering is given the beer stabilize and aging after fermenting.
