FERMENTER FERMENTION TANK
When the whirlpool finished, the wort is cooled by the heat exchanger and then enters a new tank called fermenter. Fermenting is the process during which the yeast transforms the wort into beer, it usually lasts two-three weeks.
The fermenter has a cylinder and conical bottom to accelerate the collection of the yeast. Meanwhile the cooling achieved by 35% Glycol Water -5ºC. Usually there are 2 or 3 section Glycol jackets on the cylinder of fermentation tank and 1 section on the bottom to control the temperature. And it is insulated by the low thermal conductivity PU. The design of the Tiantai fermenter includes CIP spray ball, rotating racking arm and manhole etc.
